Williams FW06

FW06 was the first Patrick Head designed Williams, this one is chassis 03 which was driven by Alan Jones in 1978. Being 1/8th scale, the detail level is much higher. The fully riveted and plated shim Brass chassis has fully adjustable suspension with working rose joints and steering rack. You can even change the brake pads, press the throttle pedal and the cable opens the slides on the injection and on and on. The removable body panels are made in glass fibre using surface tissue and carry the correct 1979 livery but the tyres are Avons as it raced today.
